This method produces polyurethane block continuously. A reactive polyurethane mixture containing foaming agent, or a prefoamed froth is applied to a lower lining sheet (2) riding on a conveyor belt (1). The mixture is distributed over the width of the lining sheet and hardened. In the new method, a conically-enlarging tube (5) is used to achieve the required distribution. This tube is loaded above (8), modifying its cross section from oval to rectangular at the outlet. Also claimed is a corresp. device for continuous manufacture of polyurethane block foam.
