The subscriber circuit has a main subscriber line connection and a number of extensions, an automatic number selection module, a call number memory and an integrated alarm device (2) connected to external alarm sensor loop circuits. The alarm device incorporates a speech signal memory (7) and a controller (1), coupled to the controller of the telecommunication stage (4) via a pair of binary signal lines (5,6). Pref. the output line from the speech signal memory is coupled to an analogue interface (9) within the telecommunication stage.
