Connecting cores (20) are radially aligned on an annular or a cylinder-shaped stator (14), which at their radial outer ends can be optically coupled with the light-wave cores (22) to be tested. A rotor (15) is located projecting inwards in the centre of the stator. A unit (17) is provided for deflecting the measurement light introduced in the light-wave conductor (24) from an axial to a radial direction, such that the measurement light impinges of the endface of the radial inner ends (30) of the connecting cores.
