Increasing heat emitting surfaces in domestic room heating - by utilising door, window and furniture surfaces which are heated e.g. by electrical resistance heating

The method employs the surface areas of moveable room fixtures, such as doors and windows, as additional heat radiation areas by electrical resistance heating, circulated media systems or radiation in the region of 10 power 11 to 10 power 13 Hz. Room heating systems usually entail small heating surfaces at relatively high surface temperatures in order to maintain a comfortable room temperature. Increasing the surface area, as in under-floor heating systems, reduces the surface temperature but increases the non-uniformity of heat distribution.
