The pointer instrument comprises at least one pointer drive which is fastened by mounting elements on a carrier and which comprises contacting elements on its rear side. The contacting elements are connected to contacting areas on a circuit board which includes conductor paths. The contact elements are formed as contact pins (6,7) which are telescopically adjustable against pressure spring contacts (14). The contact pins pref. projects from guide sheaths (13), in which they are held axially movable, and in which the pressure spring contact is arranged. The pressure spring contact presses on one side against a forehead surface area of the respective contact pin and on the other side against a connection (15) which projects from the guide sheath on a side opposite the contact pin.
