The sluice consists of movable compartments (1a-d) which are coupled on each other. The compartments comprise sluice chambers (2a-d) and equipment rooms (3a-d). A work platform may be formed from the roofs of the compartments. At least one partition, which is laterally inserted in one compartment (1a), is provided for dust-sealing separation of the work area against the surrounding. The equipment rooms hold equipments which ventilate the work area. The compartments are separately movable on rollers in the coupled condition.
