Skirt for attachment to gas nozzle of gas-shielded arc welding gun

The free gas stream formed around the arc during gas-shielded arc welding is confined by a skirt (1.3) which is detachably fixed to the welding gun nozzle (1.2). The skirt is manufactured from a heat resistant material which may be rigid or flexible and adapts to the varying gap between the welding torch and the workpiece.
