Charge wise dispensing of basic raw feedstock material into mixer on plastic processing machine

The device provides charge-wise dispensing of two or more output substances as products of thermoplastic material from a storage container (23,24) in selectable quantities, into a mixer (4) for dispensing from a plastic processing machine e.g. an injection moulding machine. Each storage container has an outlet (39) to which a weighing device (13) with a scale pan is associated. The scale pan has an inlet (41) which communicates with an outlet of the container. The scale pan also has an outlet (17) which can be locked by a locking member (18) which communicates with an inlet of the mixer. A control device (44) is provided which adjusts the selectable quantities. The weighing results are transmitted to the control device. When the selected quantities are reached in the respective scale pans (15,16), their respective locking members are controlled. A volumetric operating dispensing device (33,34) is provided between the containers and the associated scale pans. This is combined with the control device such that the control device does not control those locking members so long as the dispensing of a preselected volume is not set through the respective volumetric dispensing device.
