The instrument for flexible, interventional tracheo-bronchoscopy comprises an outer- (2) and an inner tube (3) which move relative to one another. Guide element(s) (4) is used for longitudinal positioning of the inner tube (3) within the outer tube (2). Near the far end (11) of the inner tube, there is a collar which can be filled with a medium (10, 11). The guide elements (4) are provided for the inner tube, and form supply lines (5) on the circumference. The element(s) may be set in axial position at the far end. The guide elements are components of a multilayer tube (32). The inner tube is suitable to accept the bronchoscope or tracheo-scope. The tube is of opalescent material, especially of transparent, not opaque polyurethane. The far tip of the inner tube is rounded (12).
