Use of - 1 active ingredient (A) from the thymus for causal treatment of human and simian immunodeficiency virus (HIV,SIV) or AIDS, in humans or animals, is new. Also new is use of (A) to stimulate formation of the cytokines macrophage inflammatory proteins (MIP)-a alpha and -1 beta in humans and animals.
