The invention concerns a method of reducing the amplitude noise of solid lasers (e.g. Nd-YAG, Nd:YA1O, Nd:YLF, Nd:YVO3, etc.) with resonator-internal frequency doubling (for example by KTP, LBO, BBO, KNbO3, LiNbO3, etc.).
