Mixtures of diisocyanate homologues and isomers of formula (1) are new : R = 8-15C saturated straight chain aliphatic hydrocarbon. Compounds (1) can be hydrogenated to form compounds of formula (2) which are phosgenised to form aromatic diamine compounds of formula (3) :
