摘要
Floats in sailboard design are hinged to the float stringer ends (1.2) of a box kite or similar frame to enable the float to adapt to the water surface. The sailboards (1.4) reaching into the air act as rigid sails whose main plane lying parallel to the stringers can be set at right angles or again can be made horizontal to give a free setting. Trampoline surfaces spanning the sails to and from the stringers form the helmsman position in the centre part. The main body (A) has a bearing at its centre of gravity for a gondola or boat (B) so the helmsman position can be cardanically suspended with the result that when body (A) turns round its longitudinal or transverse axes, e.g. capsizes, the helmsman position (B) remains vertically suspended. Each circular (1.3/1.4) or oval etc sailboard has a centreboard to both sides or centre, each sailboard to pivot round an axis normal to its centre of gravity. Alternatively, each sailboard has a rudder (1.5) which rotates round the axis (1.6) normal to its main plane and is centrally carried so that the craft can be steered by the sailboards, with the rudders or centreboard at set relative angles and relative the sail surfaces (1.1/1.4) and the wind.
