A floor-cleaning device has a sucking-up chamber (7) which is open towards the floor (4) and in which there is arranged a blowing-out nozzle (8) constructed as a fan-jet nozzle, from which air is blown onto the floor (4). As a result, granules are whirled up from the floor. This has the effect that dust adhering to the floor can be sucked up particularly well.
