The telescopic support leg for office furniture is used to adjust its height. The support leg consists of two telescopic parts (1, 2). The bottom part of the support (1) has vertically located indentations or perforations (4). The sliding upper part of the support (2) has horizontally movable clips (6) with pegs (5) to locate into the indentations. A vertically (R) sliding locking device (3) in form of a sleeve (3c) is fitted over the upper support and slides over the clips locking the leg in place.
