The sense of rotation of one of two cam shafts is such that the momentary contact point (P6) between the cam shaft and the rocker arm (3) during the actuation phase of the cam shaft (open or close) coincides with the momentary contact point (P7) between the second cam shaft (2) and the rocker arm. The cam shafts rotate at the same speed in opposite directions.The rocker arm is guided by a jointed lever (5) linked at a point (P4) which is simultaneously the centre point of a cam roller (7) in contact with the cam shaft (1). The jointed lever is rotatably mounted at a point (P2) which is simultaneously the centre point of cam shaft.
