The appts. includes a transponder (S) acting as a temperature measuring probe. It also has an electronic circuit. This uses a resonance circuit to extract an investigation field generated by a control device (CPU) and spatially limited by an antenna coil (A). The circuit thus converts the temp. value to be measured into an appropriate temp. signal and modulates the investigation field appropriately with this temp. signal. The control unit (CPU), using the antenna coil (A), receives this signal and analyses it. The transponder is fastened onto the skin of the patient (H) by a plaster (P). The plaster (P) has a temp. insulative cover and a recess in the middle. The recess is closed by a temp. conductive membrane (M) such that the transponder (S) is inside the recess. The transponder (S) is embedded in a temperature conductive gel in the recess. the antenna coil (A) is formed as a thin film or pcb or as a thin wire mesh and is provided with an exchangeable, sterilisable cover. The patient (H) is laid on the antenna coil (A).
