A method for ladles state degassing with a surrounding induction of the addition of heating the ladle

PURPOSE:To improve degassing degree of deoxidation and dehydrogen, etc., in molten metal, to shorten treating time and to improve the productivity by incorporating a ladle pouring molten metal into a closed vessel, induction-heating the molten metal under vacuum condition and executing various kinds of refinings. CONSTITUTION:The molten steel 14 melted with a steelmaking furnace, steelmaking secondary refining furnace, etc., is poured into the ladle 12, and this ladle 12 is stood and fixed in a cylindrical shaped induction heating device 10 in the vacuum vessel 2 composed of a vessel body 4 and a cover body 6. Successively, vacuum suction in the vacuum vessel 2 is executed through a vacuum sucking hole 8 to make this into the prescribed vacuum condition and also electric current is conducted to the induction heating device 10, and the molten steel 14 in the ladle 12 is induction-heated. Then, if necessary, a porous plug 15 is arranged at bottom part in the ladle 12, and inert gas is injected or flux for slag or alloy component may be added into the molten steel 14. By this method, the degassing degree of deoxidation and dehydrogen, etc., in the molten steel 14 is improved and treating time of various kinds of refining is effectively shortened.
