PURPOSE: To obtain a rolled granulator for automatically controlling the atomization of liq. and the sprinkling and drying of powdery chemicals, etc., while detecting the condition of the granule, etc., being granulated. ;CONSTITUTION: The granular grain 61 with the surface wetted is different in property from that with the surface dried, and the dried grain flows more easily than the wet grain due to their viscosity. A change in viscosity is detected by a sensor 40. Whether the surface of the grain in a granulation tank 1 is wetted or dried is confirmed by a controller 50 based on the output from the sensor, and the atomization of liq. and the sprinkling and drying of powdery chemicals are controlled based on the result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
