PURPOSE: To obtain a rod traveling and guiding device capable of properly carrying out travel and guide of a tobacco rod formed in a rolling-up section of a cigarette producing equipment. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective tobacco rod traveling and guiding device is arranged in a final end part of a rolling-up section of a cigarette producing equipment and provided between a feed in deflector 22 for cutting and separating a tobacco rod TR and a rolling-up section 6 and a rolled diameter measuring part 16 in starting the cigarette producing equipment and carries out support of the tobacco rod TR and guide of traveling at the advancing position and is provided between a rod guide 24 separated from the feeding-out path and the rolling-up section 6 and the rolled diameter measuring part 16 at the retreating position and is positioned so as to disconnect feeding-out path L of the tobacco rod TR and is equipped with a rod deflector 26 carrying out cutting of the tobacco rod TR and inclining the cut front end side in a prescribed direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
