Protocol transaction-oriented operations, and system for the implementation of this protocol

The station (S) equipped with a processor (P), disk controller (CD) and volatile random-access memory (M) is linked by a secure channel (CS) to a non-volatile disk memory (D) contg. a transaction table (T). The protocol attributes to a transaction modifying the volatile memory content, locks against intention to write, while allowing locks against read-out to be attributed to other transactions. The table contg. identities of transactions in progress coherence of data after loss of volatile memory, and minimises exclusion time for readers of data undergoing modification, which is limited to the re-writing time.
