The process according to the invention can consist in the cracking of the mixture of heavy residues, optionally preheated in a reactor (r1), supplying a distillation column (c1) by the light cracked products; recover, at the head of column (c1), the mixture of light noble products sought; be recycled into the reactor (r1), the flux recovered at the foot of column (c1); recover the heavy residue of the reactor (r1) and the address to a removal treatment, if necessary, after having been diluted with a part of the light flux recovered at the foot of column (c1), the remainder of said stream being recycled into the reactor (r1).
