Continuous compressed air bearing spindle, comprising a casing (2) directly provided with a bearing surface (2a) opposite the external surface of a main shaft (1), with a slight bearing clearance defined between the two ; a number of nozzles (2c, 2d, 2e) arranged on the same circumference and opening towards the bearing surface; and a polygonal continuous air supply passage putting the plurality of nozzles (2c) in circumferential communication with each other, characterized in that the compressed air is allowed to enter the bearing clearance by the plurality nozzles (2c, 2d, 2e) for supporting the main bearing shaft (2a) (1) in a state without contact with the bearing surface of the housing.
