AERODYNAMIC FAIRING OF THE FLANGE TO DRAINAGE DUCT (S) ON AIRCRAFT JET SUSPENSION PYLON

The streamlining of the flange (5) of the drainage ducts (6) on the suspension pylon (2) of an aircraft engine comprises an aerodynamically shaped body. The rear face of the flange is not shaped and is transverse to the drainage duct in the direction of air flow along the pylon. The aerodynamic body which is fitted on the rear of the flange has a front face (9a) of complementary shape to that of the flange rear face. The body is tapered towards the rear between two lateral faces which join at the trailing edge of the body and extend the flange lateral faces from its front face. The body has a longitudinal bore (11) emerging in its front face and housing part of the rear end of the drainage duct.
