ZEOLITHE Y DESALUMINEE, ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE ADSORPTION OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN THE PRESENCE OF WATER VAPOR

A dealuminised Y zeolite with a faujasite structure, characterised in that it has an overall atomic Si/Al ratio higher than about 40, an atomic percentage of Na lower than 0.1 wt %, and a crystal lattice parameter, in the cubic system, of less than about 24.2, preferably 24.1-24.2, is disclosed. A method for making said zeolite, and its use for adsorbing volatile organic compounds in the presence of steam, are also disclosed.
