Loom for weaving pile fabrics with silk pattern weaves

The loom to produce a pile fabric, in a silk weave patterning, has a Jacquard mechanism to give two overlaid fabric joined by their piles, to be cut apart. The wefts are inserted by at least one pair of lances (4,5) for two overlaid fabrics (24,25). They operate with alternating opposite movements with a negative opening, without guide paths. Through the control action (31,32,36), the warps (29,30) and the pile yarns (33) are locked stationary in place while the lances (4,5) are moving through the sheds to insert the wefts.
