PROPULSIVE CHARGE FUEL CONTAINER FOR FIELD ARTILLERY AMMUNITION

The container (1) is filled with a charge of rapid combustion powder in the same volume as a traditional slow-burning powder charge used for long-range projectiles, and has an inner volume reducer (R) which can be differentiated visually and/or by touch from a traditional container. The container has a basically cylindrical outer casing (3), a central through channel and two end walls (4,5), and the inner volume reducers can be in the form of recesses in the end walls or cylindrical side wall of the casing. The casing can be assembled, for example, from three coaxial moulded components which are made from a cardboard charged with nitrocellulose some 3 mm thick.
