Compsn. is a liq. soln. comprising 40-90% (pref. 60-80%) pine tar and 10-60% (pref. 20-40%) a mixt. of terpenic alcohols. Also claimed is an aerosol system comprising: (a) the above compsn.; (b) a container equipped with valve and plunger tube; and (c) a gas or gas mixt. as propellant. At 20[deg]C, the interior of the container is maintained at a pressure of 1-7 bar, (pref. 2-6 bar). Also claimed is a process for treatment of plant wounds, comprising pulverising on the wound surface 0.01-1 g/cm2 (pref. 0.02-0.5 g/cm2) of the liq. soln. above using the aerosol system.
