Reservoir for refrigerant fluids under pressure - has outer tube with closed ends and has co-axial internal tube connecting to external conduits and having holes in side wall to connect fluid to outer tube
The fluid reservoir has an elongated tubular body (2) closed by two end plates (3,4). The tubular body houses a co-axial tube (8) which passes through the end plates to provide external connections for delivery of the refrigerant fluid. The internal tube is divided by a transverse wall (11) mid-way along its length, preventing direct flow of fluid through the tube. Holes (9,12) are formed in the side wall of the internal tube, one on either side of the dividing wall (11). Fluid entering the internal tube passes through the first hole (9) into the main body, and leaves the body through the second hole.
