The device is for adjusting the floor of the motor vehicle which has an articulated platform (10) positioned under the pedals. The platform is hinged from the floor (1) along its back edge. The platform is raised and lowered by a mobile adjuster (12) placed between the platform and the floor. The adjuster has rollers (22) on top and bottom, and is moved forward and backward, to lower or raise the platform, by an electrically driven screw (25). The rollers run on guides (12,13) formed by a raised zone in the floor. The platform is raised against the action of springs (32) at the edge opposite the hinge, which ensure its return to the lowered position.
