The roofing tile is constituted from a single part simulating the configuration of at least two traditional adjacent flat tiles placed in two successive rows. It has, on its upper surface, channels (13-15) located near the sloping edges (7,8,12). On its internal surface are linings (16-18) engaging in the channels of adjacent tiles during their installation. The linings are constituted from bands of rock wool. The channels have an edge perpendicular to the tile upper surface and a bottom progressively joining the upper surface of the tile when the sloping edge is moved away.
