Optical component adapted to the supervision of a wave multilength and a multiplexer say nsertion - extraction using this component, the application to the optical gratings. & br / this component comprises a fiber (68) transmitting the signals of different wavelengths, a diffraction grating (70) dispersing, these signals to several orders of diffraction, the fibers (72 to 78) recovering of the signals thus dispersed, corresponding to a given order of diffraction and of the fibers (79 to 84) recovering the same signals but corresponding to a different order of diffraction, in order to control the state of these signals.
