Electric heating radiator combining gentle convector with slow and fast heaters

The radiator includes a supporting unit (1) with an air outlet (3) at the top, a convector (10) with vertical or horizontal fins at the back of the unit, and a frontal heater (20) having an element (21) with low thermal inertia and a refractory plate (22) of considerably higher thermal inertia. The element may be a resistive film plated on to the front face of the plate, and concealed by a decorative panel (5). This enables occupants of a room to feel warmth as quickly as possible and before the convector and refractory plate attain their working temperatures.
