The clock includes a fix globe (1) placed on a base (8) and having an axis (6) orientated towards the polar star. A meridian crown (3) is supported by this axis while an equatorial crown (2) is attached to the meridian crown. The equatorial crown presents 24 graduations of 15 degrees each which indicate the hour (13). The meridian crown is provided with a cursor (10) sliding along two parallel rails (4). The cursor carries a tube (9) with double crosshairs (11). The shadows of the crosshairs are perfectly superimposed when the tube is orientated towards the Sun.
