PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operating noise of a reduction gear, by installing an elasticity application means for reducing the rigidity of a ring-shaped part, to the plate ring- shaped part between a shaft part and a teeth part of each gear of a gear train, for decelerating the rotation of a driving motor for driving a member to be rotated to be opened and closed. ;SOLUTION: An opening and closing unit for controlling the opening and closing of a seat cover 12 and a seat 13, comprises a driving motor 21, and the rotation of the driving motor 21 is transmitted to an axis of rotation 14 through a small gear 212, and a reduction gear mechanism comprising the first through third gears 22-24 of the spur gears. On this occasion, the gears 22-24 of the reduction gear mechanism, and an output gear 25 supported by an axis of rotation 14, are respectively provided with the elasticity application means 1. That is, a circular recessed part is formed on a ring-shaped part 6 between a shaft part of a gear body 4 and a teeth part 4a, so that the elasticity can be applied. Whereby the operating noise can be reduced by the elasticity application means 1, when the automatic control for opening and closing only the seat cover 12, and opening and closing both of the seat cover 12 and the seat 13, is performed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
