PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quasi-active dynamic vibration reducer suppressing a stroke of the dynamic vibration reducer to have high vibration damping performance relating to a wide frequency range, and a boiler structure provided with the dynamic vibration reducer. ;SOLUTION: A quasi-active dynamic vibration reducer is constituted of a spring 3 combined in parallel to be mounted respectively in a structure 2, variable damping damper 4 and an additional mass 1. So as to generate vibration damping force represented by a product of relative displacement of the structure 2 and the additional mass 1 and a proportional constant of the damper 4 applied to the relative displacement, control is performed, which switches a damping coefficient of the damper 4 in many steps, a vibration damping band effectively operating the dynamic vibration reducer can be changed. Simultaneously by generating a relative speed of the structure 2 and the additional mass 1 and vibration damping force (function as essential damper 4) in proportion to the relative speed, a stroke of the dynamic vibration reducer is suppressed.
