PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a through hole of high accuracy in a belt with cascade. ;SOLUTION: In a method of manufacture, a belt 10 with cascade, having a belt main unit 12, plurality of blades 14 and a hole 16 inserted in the belt main unit 12, is manufactured. The method is constituted by a process preparing the belt 10 with cascade having the belt main unit 12 and a plurality of the blades 14, process preparing a polygonal surface jig 30 having a polygonal peripheral surface constituted by a plurality of small planes 32 and a peripheral length longer than an internal peripheral length of the belt main unit 12, process fitting the belt main unit 12 to a periphery of the polygonal surface jig 30 so that an intermediate part of the fellow blades 14 arranging the through hole 16 of the belt main unit 12 is arranged in the small plane 32 in the periphery of the polygonal surface jig 30, and a process drilling the through hole 16 in the belt main unit 12 by pressing an extraction edge 42 from the periphery thereof in the intermediate part of the fellow blades 14 of the belt main unit 12 fitted to the polygonal surface jig 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
