PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small cooling tank having high cooling performance, and a small induction heating cooker, in which the heating element of an inverter circuit controlling an induction coil serving as a heating means is effectively cooled, and to simplify a cooling tank manufacturing method to provide an inexpensive cooling tank that has no fear of leakage of a filler. ;SOLUTION: A flat portion 27, a ribbed portion 28a projected from the flat portion 27, and a recessed portion 28b are formed on the surfaces of two bowl- shaped cases. The cases are made to overlap each other with the ribbed portion 28a or recessed portion 28b of one case opposed to the recessed portion 28b or ribbed portion 28a of the other case, a refrigerant 32 is sealed therein to form a cooling tank 26 for an induction heating cooker, and the semiconductor switching element of an inverter circuit is mounted on the surface of the cooling tank 26.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
