PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing accuracy, durability and to prevent aging change, a decrease in external appearance and quality with excellent dimensional stability by impregnating it with azelaic acid or its compound. ;SOLUTION: In the case of cutting a veneer by a rotary lath, a log is laterally cut by using a side cutter. Thereafter, boiling is executed as needed, and then debarking is executed to obtain a timber. Then, azelaic acid solution is poured in a pressure increasing or decreasing pouring unit to impregnate the timer with the solution. Thus, the timber impregnated with the solution is dried, for example, by using an explosiveproof oven. Thereafter, a veneer is cut, then scissored, dried, and regulated to manufacture a plywood. Thereafter, various additives are added as needed, and coated with a prepared adhesive solution. Eventually, it is cut in a predetermined size, and surface finished. A component for a musical instrument made of such plywood has small expansion coefficient, shrinkage factor, and small error.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
