PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate occurrence of a glaze release after second heating compression molding without collapse of a design at the time of first heating compression molding without yellowing a pattern sheet mounting sheet by heat treatment with satisfactory transferability and adhesive properties to the mounting sheet of the design by using a thermal transfer recording system. ;SOLUTION: This decorative plate is formed by forming a design A of ink on a resin impregnated sheet-like material 20 to be transferred by particularly two-stage transfer method by utilizing a thermal transfer method using a thermal transfer recording material having a thermal transfer ink layer made of coloring material and binder material on a base material, containing total 2 to 85wt.% of epoxy resin and phenol resin in the binder material so that ratios of them to the total amount of the epoxy resin and phenol resin are 25 to 85wt.% and 15 to 75wt.%, heat treating the material 20 formed with the design A at 120°C or lower, curing the ink of the design, then impregnating the material 20 with thermosetting resin, then disposing it on a surface of the base 11, and heating compression molding it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
