PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator for a few people in which safety and security can be provided. ;SOLUTION: In this device, a single steel pipe support pole 2 is disposed to stand on a base plate 5, a rail 12 to guide elevation of a car 9, an entrance door suspension rail installation member 57 and an entrance door lower side installation member 59 for installing entrance doors 8-1, 8-2 are installed on the support pole 2, and a lower part of the support pole 2 is fixed to the base plate 5, to form a car support frame 1. A screw shaft type elevation drive unit composed of an assembly type screw shaft 14, a female screw gear 15, a female screw housing 50, a gear box 25, an elevated matter support arm 23, a motor 17, etc., is provided on the car support frame 1 to stand vertically to be fastened at an upper and a lower parts, and a car 9 is mounted on the elevated matter support arm 23 in the screw shaft type elevation drive unit through a vibration-proof and sound-proof member 76. Slides 24 installed on a floor part and a ceiling part of the car 9 are engaged with the rail 12 on the car support frame 1 to be vertically slidable to hold an attitude of the car 9 and the car 9 is elevated by the motor 17 on the screw shaft type elevation drive unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
