PRE-CONCENTRATOR COLLECTOR FOR DETECTING MINUTE AMOUNT OF GASEOUS CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve specificity and selectivity as well as high sensitivity in a surface sound-wave gas chromatography method and to concentrate gaseous chemical material, which is the object of detection and identification before the chromatography analysis, in preparation. SOLUTION: This collector is constituted so as to include main body parts 124, 122 and 100 having an inlet port and an output port and a plurality of collector plates 76 made of a substance that can adsorb and desorb gaseous chemical substance, which are overlapped and mounted on the main body parts 124, 122 and 100. In this case, the above described outlet port can be connected to a sampling pump 24 for accepting the sample of surrounding air into the main body parts 124, 122 and 100 through the inlet port. After the sample is accepted, the collector plates 76 trap the gaseous chemical substance in the sample of the surrounding air. The gaseous substance, which is not trapped, is exhausted through the above described outlet port.
