FACE OF SLOPE SEEDING AND PLANTING CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND EARTH RETAINING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a pair of corrosive panels having a right-angled triangle shape in a shape of character V to erect them, holding soil therein, and planting young plants so as to form the vegetation having natural appearance on a face of slope easily in a few years. ;SOLUTION: A first panel 1 and a second panel 2 which are formed by a corrosive raw material and have a right-angled triangle shape are assembled by engaging an engaging hole 1A with an engaging projection 2A to form an earth retaining member. The earth retaining member is erected in a shape of character V which is opened on the upstream side by pressing in spikes 1F, 2F, and anchors are driven into anchor holes 1D, 2D and are fixed in a tree planting region of a face of slope. Soil dressing is put inside the earth retaining member, young plants are planted, and a string passes through string passing holes 1B, 2B to pull out two panels 1, 2 mutually or bind and hold young plants to form tree planting regions like islands which are arranged regularly or irregularly over the whole face of slope. Roots of the young plants which are planted grow sufficiently until the earth retaining member is corroded, flowing out of soil dressing is prevented, and plants grow up in a few years so that vegetation having natural appearance can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
