FRONT PANEL OF AIR CONDITIONER, AIR CONDITIONER PROVIDED WITH FRONT PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ON FRONT PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the function of an air conditioner as an interior by a method wherein the whole of a front panel is constituted of a resin molded article and lateral ribs are provided with a design by printing, in regard to the front panel of an air conditioner equipped with the lateral ribs in large numbers. SOLUTION: A front panel 2 is an integrally molded article of polypropylene. Hinge parts 11a and 11b thereof formed in projection are engaged with hinge support parts 13a and 13b and thereby the panel is made removable from a main body 1 and rotatable. A large number of slits 4 are formed in almost the whole surface of the front panel 2. These slits 4 form a large number of lateral ribs 5 each having a roughly doglegged section and air flows into the air conditioner main body 1 side along the lateral ribs 5 from above. The section of the lateral rib 5 is formed in the shape of a rectangle having a flat part being on the same plane as a panel face 24 other than the part of the lateral rib 5 and a design picture can be printed on this flat part easily by a printing method.
