PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition for applying on an architectural decorative material, capable of forming a membrane having a good water proof property, scratch resistance and abrasion resistance, and also excellent in smoothness of a surface plane thereof, and providing the architectural decorative material equipped with an endurance and a beautifying property simultaneously and having a stereoscopic decorative effect. ;SOLUTION: This aqueous composition for applying on an architectural decorative material, contains (a) a membrane forming component, (b) at least one kind of filler selected from a barite, a sedimentary barium sulfate, a dolomite, and a chemical gypsum, and (c) thermally expandable microcapsule, and the film forming component thereof consists of 90-60wt.% first component consisting of at least one kind selected from a synthetic rubber latex and an acrylic acid ester-based emulsion, and 10-40wt.% second component consisting of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
