PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a roofing scaffold insatiable easily and safely by setting up a ladder body installed with a bridge in a flexible connecting material along the inclining direction of a pitched roof, and installing a step member in the bridge member free of detachment. ;SOLUTION: A ladder body 21 is made up of installing a bridge member in flexible connecting materials such as two rows of wire ropes or the like, and a hook member installed in the upper end is engaged with the upper end of a roof panel 6, setting up it in a pitched roof. Then, a step member 22 is installed in the bridge member of the ladder body 21 free detachment, and the angle of a tread is adjusted and fixed into horizontally according to the inclination of the pitched roof. A footboard 51 is mounted on the tread of each of two step members 22 set up in the same height and clamped by bolts, constituting a roofing scaffold 50. In addition, the ladder body 21 is easily conveyable by a carriage by way of folding the flexible connecting material. Consequently, the ladder body 21 is set in the pitched roof, and the roofing scaffold 50 can be easily set up via these step members 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
