PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a wide space under a container such as a basin, a sink, a wash basin or the like by forming a drain trap by a drain coupling itself directly fitted to a drain cylinder provided in a drain opening. ;SOLUTION: A drain cylinder 1 is fitted to a drain opening (a) of a basin A. A connecting coupling 2 fitted to the drain cylinder 1 is formed substantially like a V-shape with a vertical pipe part 12 and rising pipe part 12 to form a drain trap (running trap) 4. In the thus formed drain pipe structure, a drain coupling 2 directly fitted to a drain cylinder forms the drain trap 4, the bottom of the drain trap 4 is located in a position lower from the inner bottom of the basin A by a designated distance to ensure wide cabinet space 100.
