PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate an operating load for regulating ink. ;SOLUTION: The ink circulating unit provided in each printing apparatus of a gravure printer comprises a plurality of ink tanks 11, 12, tubes 31 to 35, 51 to 53 for connecting the tanks 11, 12 to an ink circulating system, and transfer valves (a) to (h) for selecting the tank to be used at the tubes. Since the used tanks are divided according to a cylinder press plate system, an operation for largely ink regulating according to the difference of the press plate system is not necessary, a time required for the ink regulation can be reduced, thereby improving its operating efficiency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
