PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a fine clearance between both rotors to a desired value at a short time, improve reliability of sorting regulation, and improve compressibility, by founding out a command value of an intermittent torque impression from a deviation between an intermediate value of relative position of both rotors at the time of torque impression of normal and reverse direction, and a setting value of the fine clearance. ;SOLUTION: After a torque is intermittently impressed on a male rotor 2 by a DC motor, in a MPU 30, its intermediate value is obtained by an output of an encoders 21, 22, it is confirmed from displacement of the male rotor 2 whether it is a target sorting position or not. If it not attain the target sorting position, the intermediate value is set as a reference, namely, a torque command value which is impressed subsequently is calculated by a deviation between a position of the male rotor 2 and the target position. An intermittent torque is impressed subsequently. The male rotor 2 is thus driven to the target position along intermittent torque impression and normal and reverse torque impression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
