PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic character generation method and a dynamic character display method allowing each stroke composing a character to be displayed in accordance with an order of strokes and brush strokes. SOLUTION: A set of character font data provided with brushstroke attributes to each stroke composing a character is formed and is stored in a font data set memory 40. When a user inputs from a keyboard 10 a character of which he wants to know the order of the strokes and the brush strokes, a CPU 30 reads the font data of the character from the memory 40, and fills an area of strokes in stages and dynamically displays the character according to the order of the strokes and brush strokes.
